Climaider receives payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard and JCB. All amounts are in DKK. Danish kroner. Climaider uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that you cannot read your information. Membership for your donation is on a subscription basis but is non-binding. To unsubscribe, simply send us an E-mail at hello@climaider.com and you will be unsubscribed immediately.
Reimbursement
If there is a refund, please send us your bank details so that we can transfer the agreed amount.
Cancellation
14 days full return policy is given for donations. The period is calculated from the day you receive a receipt for the donation. Cancellation must be notified to us within 14 days of purchase. The notification must be given per. E-mail at hello@climaider.com. In the notice, you must clearly indicate to us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about your donation, a complaint can be sent to: The Competition and Consumer Agency Center for Complaints, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. If you are a consumer domiciled in another EU country, you can state your complaint in the EU Commission’s online complaint platform. Membership
By paying for a membership, you accept the terms.There is an administration fee of 22.5% + any card fees or other fees related to the transfer of money.We strive to ensure that you at least offset what is in your membership. We always spend every penny we get on the projects and in many cases this means that we compensate more than we should. However, we do not take responsibility if price increases, political decisions, war, natural disasters or anything else should result in us not being able to offset the amount stated in your membership. We strive for it, but do not guarantee it. However, we guarantee that we always do what we can to ensure that you get as much climate impact for the money as possible. If the cost of the projects increases so much that we feel compelled to raise the price of your membership, you will always be notified at least 1 month in advance.We can not guarantee that your money will go to the project featured on your page. This has never happened before, but should it happen that a project suddenly closed, ran out of climate credits, increased prices dramatically or the like, we may be forced to donate your money to another project. In this case, we will do our utmost to find a project of the same quality and where you get just as much climate for the money. We also reserve the right to allocate the money to another project if something causes us to assess that we can no longer vouch for the project in question - whether it is due to climate considerations, human rights considerations or something completely different. In the event that we change your project, you will of course be informed as early as possible.We regularly replace and update projects and you can therefore expect the projects to change once in a while - however, you will always be notified well in advance if it is a planned replacement. Money donated to the projects is non-refundable.
App Terms & Conditions
By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You’re not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Climaider ApS.
Climaider aps is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
The Climaider app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the Climaider app won’t work properly or at all.
The app does use third party services that declare their own Terms and Conditions.

You should be aware that there are certain things that Climaider aps will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but Climaider aps cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
Along the same lines, Climaider aps cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to avail the Service, Climaider aps cannot accept responsibility.
With respect to Climaider aps’s responsibility for your use of the app, when you’re using the app, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Climaider aps accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android & iOS – the requirements for both systems(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Climaider aps does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android & iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
Ambassador campaign
At Climaider, we spend a lot of money on advertising so we can become more members. We would rather spend that money on planting trees and that is why we are running this campaign.
But that is money that would normally have gone to get new members. Therefore, we also reserve the right that if someone finds a way to cheat the system or otherwise sign up but unsubscribe immediately, then we do not plant the full amount of trees. We reserve this right because Climaider is about making a big difference to the climate. But we are not going to make a big difference to the climate if we go bankrupt due to a campaign.
Climaider is a small organization with a small budget, so if someone should find a way to use the system so we actually get a deficit on getting a member, then we reserve the right to refrain from planting trees for the difference - that is, the amount we run a deficit. Then it may well be that we end up with a flat 0kr. after this campaign and it would be a shame, but then we have planted a lot of trees, and Climaider is still alive and can also support climate projects next month and the month after.
We hope you understand. By signing up, you agree to these terms, so if you can not agree with them, you may have to skip the membership this time.

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
